Welcome Speech for Children’s Charity Foundation Bangladesh (CCBF)
A very warm welcome to all of you at CCB Foundation website. CCB Foundation stands for Children’s Charity Bangladesh Foundation which is a charitable organization working for the promotion of child rights and child education in Bangladesh. The Foundation has been established with an objective to educate a generation of our poor children up to a certain level. Education is a master-key for both personal and national development of a country. One of the Foundation’s core working principles is- “Make only one generation of our children educated up to a certain level, we will not have to be worried about any further generation cause an educated person will never leave his next generation uneducated.” This Foundation was formed and registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 in August 2004. The foundation always gives emphasis on child education and it is moving forward. However, it also gives education loan to certain poor students that helps poor students to continue education up to university level. Every child deserves the opportunity to learn and as a conscious citizen of this country, we need to extend our support and help to the welfare activities for the benefit of children. We hope no child will be excluded from the light of education and CCB Foundation will provide all necessary support in this regard. In addition to child education programme, our Foundation has continuous legal aid programme under which PIL cases are filed and moved in the Supreme Court and also in other quasi-judicial bodies like NHRC and RTI Commission. Furthermore, the foundation has two ranges of publications: quality and motivational publications for children and socio-legal publications for students and practitioners alike. Lastly, some important links are available here which you will find scholarly and resourceful at different areas of public and gender laws. Hope these will be helpful in your day-to-day professional world. You are welcome to give any kind of feedback on those publications. We shall be happy to get such feedback or recommendation.
